The Challenge

The facility was opening a new operating theatre and needed a complete, integrated equipment package — from the OT table and surgical lights to the anaesthesia machine and electrosurgical unit — delivered, installed, and commissioned within 6 weeks.

Our Solution

StarMed sourced and supplied a full theatre package including a motorised OT table, dual-dome LED surgical lights, an integrated anaesthesia workstation, monopolar/bipolar ESU unit, and a complete set of general surgery instruments. StarMed designed a cost-efficient furniture package combining electric multi-section beds for private rooms and manual hydraulic beds for general wards. All furniture was sourced from a single certified manufacturer, delivered in two consignments, and assembled on-site by our logistics team.

KEMSA Framework — Consumables Annual Contract

The Challenge

A county health department required a reliable annual framework contract for high-volume consumables — syringes, IV sets, gloves, and wound care supplies — for 14 health facilities across the county, with guaranteed quarterly delivery.

Our Solution

StarMed secured a PPRA-compliant framework contract, establishing agreed pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards. We maintained a local buffer stock of all fast-moving items to ensure quarterly delivery reliability regardless of import lead times.
