Our Story
StarMed Technologies was founded in June 2017 with a clear conviction: that the quality of healthcare in Africa should not be limited by access to equipment. Our founder, having seen first-hand the impact of inadequate medical supplies on patient outcomes, set out to build a procurement and supply business that would change that reality.
Starting with a focus on consumables and basic diagnostic equipment, we quickly expanded to cover the full spectrum of non-pharmaceutical medical products from surgical theatre equipment and hospital furniture to ICU systems and imaging devices. Today, we supply over 300 healthcare facilities across Kenya and East Africa.
